Product Marketing Manager - AdPool - (Remote)

Wurl is seeking a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to support AdPool, our advertising monetization product that helps content companies and streamers monetize every ad impression. This PMM will work cross-functionally to develop go-to-market programs for the AVOD and FAST CTV spaces.  Working across product, engineering, design, sales, marketing, PR, and customer success, this rockstar will collaborate closely with these stakeholders to gain insight into the sales process and develop exciting marketing strategies that increase adoption, drive revenue, educate clients, and provide valuable feedback to drive continuous improvement and help solve monetization challenges in the rapidly growing CTV space.

What You'll Do

Messaging

  • Understand AdPool customer segments in AVOD and FAST spaces
  • Refine our positioning, value props, benefits, and key messages. Continuously test them and modify as needed 

Go-to-Market Planning and Activation

  • Lead the Go-to-Market strategy to increase adoption and retention for the launch of new features and tools within the product suite
  • Price and package new features and products as needed
  • Develop clear OKRs for product launches, analyze your results, and pivot accordingly
  • Support the product team in creating business cases by identifying total addressable market (TAM) for new products, developing competitive analysis and battlecards, and building case studies to demonstrate successful launches
  • Project manage and prioritize the rollout of go-to-market plans with the brand marketing team to produce creative content that accurately reflects our products and brand
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for your products, regularly writing and contributing to blogs, whitepapers, bylines, and event messaging
  • Build and expand effective marketing collateral and sales enablement to support ongoing feature releases
  • Lead training sessions for internal teams to align stakeholders on new product releases, ensuring consistent messaging and clear understanding of the benefits of these enhancements

Post-Campaign Analysis

  • Use a combination of analytics, insight, and instincts to influence our product roadmap
  • Generate customer feedback loops to help identify areas for improvement

Collaboration

  • Effectively partner with and manage executive stakeholders to achieve consensus on strategic decisions.
  • Be a vocal advocate for the PMM discipline, continuously demonstrating the importance and effectiveness of excellent product marketing.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance our products, processes, and materials and influence change accordingly

Qualifications

  • You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years experience in product marketing, performance marketing, product management, consulting, business development, client solutions management, sales development, or equivalent roles
  • Superb Communicator - You have experience developing sales enablement for fast-growing, rapidly evolving spaces and can communicate complex concepts in understandable ways
  • Excellent Writer - You possess excellent writing skills (and can provide examples)
  • Presentation Wizard - You are a master at creating slide decks for sales and other external presentations. Our designers can make your presentations look nice, but you’ll architect the deck, write the copy, and lead the design team to create the finished product 
  • You’ve got this - You are experienced in bringing products, features, or enhancements to market and rolling them out with clear communication and effective training
  • Messaging master - you can quickly identify the most effective way to communicate why a new product should be adopted
  • Endlessly curious - you love to learn new things, are always open to new ideas, and constantly strive to be at the forefront of innovative ideas and experiences
  • Doer - blame is not your game. You step in to help when needed and look for solutions to solve the problems that come your way
  • Builder - you can navigate building slides, case studies, one sheets, and other materials with no problems
  • Detailed - you can write well with few mistakes and can see both granularly and big-picture
  • Independent - you’re comfortable owning your area of expertise with no micromanagement
  • Outspoken - you stand your ground and push for what’s right, even if it may not be popular
  • BONUS:  CTV or broadcast experience, or deep knowledge of the FAST, AVOD, and SVOD spaces
  • BONUS:  Programmatic advertising experience, specifically with SSPs and DSPs
  • BONUS: Advertising experience, especially conducting and measuring your own campaigns
  • BONUS:  Deep experience in market research, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis
