Sr. Programmatic Sales Manager (Location, Remote)

We’re looking for an experienced sales executive who is just as excited as we are about the explosive growth of FAST. This individual will fill an important role in driving and supporting Wurl’s PMP/PG advertising revenue growth, strategy, and new partnership development.

Expertise in data driven audience activation and a pulse on how the media agency community is allocating client spend across the Streaming TV category is key. This individual must be able to think strategically, anticipate how buying decisions are made, and have a proven ability to close deals.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and develop relationships with agencies, trading desks and advertisers who control national programmatic budgets 
  • Prospecting and driving new demand and revenue through Direct Deals and Programmatic Guaranteed activation
  • Collaborate with Programmatic Platform Manager to provide high level of customer service to clients with effective communication, timely responses to requests, and proactive resolutions to potential issues
  • Works closely with Advertising Team leadership to develop client rate card strategy
  • Evangelize Wurl’s programmatic strategy both internally and externally through topline offerings and best practices, while being an expert on trends across the ad tech ecosystem
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product teams to create the most relevant positioning, collateral, and advertising solutions
  • Leverage salesforce to generate and track lead, account, and pipeline activity
  • Remain current on industry trends including ad products, success metrics and 3rd party authentication
  • Strong quantitative aptitude with the ability to package data driven ad solutions and maintaining vigilance on platform performance
  • Maintain a sales pipeline and meet quarterly advertising revenue goals. 

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant ads industry experience, with 4+ years in programmatic ad sales and 2+ years of management experience
  • Deep ad/tech programmatic expertise, with existing contacts across major agencies, holding companies, and brands
  • Prior experience owning and exceeding revenue goals in a sales role within an online advertising company
  • Strong speaking and presentation skills
  • Strong financial, operational, and analytical skills
  • Prior experience at an Online Publisher, DSP, SSP, or similar company within Ad Tech, preferred
  • Early-stage startup experience is a plus
