Wurl is seeking driven, self-starters with an eye for entertainment to join our dynamic team. The candidate should be project-management oriented, have strong communication skills and be one who doesn’t back away from a challenge!

This role is responsible for managing channel launches from beginning to end and executing studio needs with regard to channel maintenance, content refresh rates and troubleshooting technical issues.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and manages the launch of multiple channels on various Video Services within the Wurl Network
  • Coordinates with studios to ingest content and schedule programming in preparation for launch
  • Communicates technical and creative requirements from Video Services to studio partners during both launch and ongoing channel maintenance
  • Facilitates project launch timelines internally with the Wurl Engineering team
  • Tracks and adjusts project timelines, as needed and communicates those changes effectively across internal and external teams
  • Trains studio personnel on the Wurl Platform tools
  • Manages and maintains ongoing processes with relation to channel maintenance, such as regularly-scheduled VOD deliveries, content library refreshes and overall troubleshooting
  • Works with engineering team to address any technical issues that cannot be resolved by the Content Ops Team

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience working in the entertainment industry or in a project management role
  • Ability to manage project timelines across both internal and external teams
  • Strong listening skills and ability to understand client needs
  • Excellent communicator who can handle multiple customers in demanding situations
  • Takes pride in client satisfaction
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Bachelor’s degree required

This position is open to candidates local to Santa Monica, California and/or Palo Alto, California. The role requires minimal travel and will involve some weekend and evening hours.
