As online streaming services continue to grow at a breakneck pace, entertainment companies have discovered that marathons draw large audiences and drive awareness for both the content provider and the distribution partner.

This week, a new marathon on Twitch TV promotes the launch of College Humor’s Dropout – a subscription streaming service for comedy videos, comics and more.
